Some new stuff...

We've added a few new things today that we want to make sure don't miss.

First, and toughest to miss... we tweaked the page design a bit. The navigation bar has been moved from the right side to the left side. We think that it feels more natural this way.

Second, we've added a 'sports links' section off of the main menu. This is where we'll compile links to other sports sites that we like. If you're interested in doing a link exchange, contact us.

Last, we've added two new categories: 'sports media' and 'comedy and satire'. The 'sports media' category should be used to stories about the people and organizations that cover sports. These stories don't always pertain to only one sport, so this category should help in those cases. The 'comedy and satire' category should be used to keep all the "funny" stuff that isn't really sports news in one place.

CHAAMP Beta Launch

CHAAMP is officially moving into the beta launch phase. This means that we'll be opening the site up to the public and everything should function normally.

Why are we calling it "beta"? Because we're still actively developing features and making improvements to the site. None of this should have any effect on your daily use of CHAAMP. We'll just kindly ask you to cut us some slack if there are a few hiccups along the way.

During this time, we would appreciate any feedback that you can provide. In the early stages of CHAAMP, the users have an opportunity to help shape the growth of the site. Let us know what you'd like to see. Are we missing a category? Are we missing a crucial feature? Does something about the site not make sense to you? Please, tell us!
